Meet Chelsea

Chelsea DeSelms is a board certified family practitioner with a background in critical care, primary care, women’s health, and integrative medicine.

Chelsea takes pride in having the ability to provide her patients with more treatment options by utilizing both conventional and alternative approaches.  She is certified in hormone testing and balancing, originally trained by some of the highest recognized hormone experts in the nation.
Chelsea has strong clinical and assessment skills and personally understands the connection of medical issues to lifestyle changes, environmental exposure, and re-balancing body systems.  Chelsea’s personal battle with autoimmune disease has helped her to develop a deeper understanding of the whole-body, whole-person, approach to healthcare.  She is passionate about helping individuals physically, emotionally, and spiritually and she greatly values the patient-provider relationship.  She strives to address the root cause of an issue rather than treating the symptoms alone.

Chelsea’s most significant training was completed through Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Columbus State University with an emphasis in integrative medicine, and the whole person care preceptorship through Loma Linda University Medical Center.  She has received additional training in the area of hormone balance, epigenetics, autoimmune disorders, chronic fatigue, nutrient injection therapy, and nutrition through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and Functional Medicine University.

Chelsea and her husband love Oregon!  When she is not working, she can be found spending time with her 4 fur children, playing music, rock-climbing, traveling, scuba-diving, or anything else outdoors!
